The Undergraduate Level 4 International National Diploma in accounting and business is a 120 credit course designed to fast-track students to the final year of an associated Undergraduate B.A (Hons) endorsed in Business Management, which can either be completed on campus or via distance learning. The course is made up of 6 units of Level 4 modules (120 credits).
The International National Diploma in Accounting and Business (Level 4) provides a solid foundation in Academic Writing and Research Skills (20 credits), Business and the Economic Environment (20 credits), Principles of Financial Accounting (20 credits), Quantitative Methods in a Business Context (20 credits), Management Accounting (20 credits), and Leading and Managing Teams (20 credits). It emphasizes academic rigor, critical thinking, and effective research methods.
Course Details
Each module consists of 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours worth of optional materials which comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings and internet resources. Within the modules are self-testing exercises. You must take care in answering these. Although they are not marked nor do they count towards your final assessment, the marking is tested against your scoring on the final assessment to check for consistency of score.
Successful completion of the full Level 4 International National Diploma in accounting and business will give students the right credentials to go on and apply for a job in marketing, accounting, human resources, management or business consultancy.

Entry Requirements
For entry into Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and Business, learners must possess the following:
* Relevant/Local Board of Examination Result in your Country, which must include at least 5 'C' Grades in English and 4 other subjects.
* Mock Examination Result can also be accepted for initial Conditional Admission, pending the release of the Board of Examination Result. (This is assessed on a case by case basis)
* Learner must be 18 years or older at the start of the Course.
OR
* Mature Learners (21 years or older) with work experience in supervisory, leadership or management roles. (This is assessed on a case by case basis).
Course Modules

This module introduces the fundamentals of financial accounting, including recording, summarizing, and interpreting financial transactions. Students will learn about key financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements. Practical exercises focus on ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
The Level 4 - Quantitative Methods in a Business Context module equips students with essential statistical techniques to analyze business data. It covers data collection, descriptive and inferential statistics, and their applications in decision-making and forecasting. Students learn to apply quantitative methods for business problem-solving, enhancing analytical and critical thinking skills. The module prepares students to use statistical tools for evaluating trends, making predictions, and supporting strategic business decisions.
This module focuses on the use of accounting information for internal planning, control, and decision-making. Students will explore budgeting, cost analysis, and performance evaluation. The aim is to equip learners with tools to support strategic financial decisions.
This module explores the principles of leadership and effective team management in organizations. Students will examine team dynamics, motivation strategies, and conflict resolution techniques. The focus is on building leadership skills to drive team performance and achieve organizational goals.
