International Higher Diploma in Information Technology Level 5 - 1 Year - 120 Credits 

This Level 5 International Higher Diploma in Information Technology is designed to equip learners with a solid foundation in advanced IT concepts, tools, and practices. The programme enables students to understand, implement, and manage software systems and IT infrastructures in real-world contexts. It prepares learners to critically assess system requirements and manage information technology solutions across organizations. Emphasis is placed on practical applications, problem-solving skills, and project-based learning. This qualification also serves as a pathway to higher-level study or employment in the IT sector.

 

The course explores core areas such as software engineering, databases, network systems, and project management. Learners will gain hands-on experience in developing and managing IT solutions and evaluating system performance. Key competencies such as systems analysis, design thinking, and IT governance are developed throughout the course. For entry into Level 5 International Higher Diploma in Information Technology, learners must possess the following:

* Relevant/Local Board of Examination Result in your Country, which must include at least 5 'C' Grades in English and 4 other subjects.

* Mock Examination Result can also be accepted for initial Conditional Admission, pending the release of the Board of Examination Result. (This is assessed on a case by case basis)

* Learner must be 18 years or older at the start of the Course.

OR

* Mature Learners (21 years or older) with work experience in supervisory, leadership or management roles. (This is assessed on a case by case basis).
