The objective of the International Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management qualification is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective public health program planning, implementation, and evaluation, to enable students to analyze the social, economic, and environmental determinants of health and to develop interventions that address health inequities and to prepare students for leadership roles in public health, including management of public health organizations, policymaking, and community engagement.

Entry Requirements
For entry onto theInternational Postgraduate Diploma (IPGD) in Public Health Management qualification, learners must possess:
- An honours degree in a related subject or the UK level 6 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification, i.e. bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma
OR
- Mature learners (over 25) with at least five years of management experience if they do not possess the above qualification (this is reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
Course Modules
This course teaches students to comprehend the concerns and challenges that strategic management managers encounter. It introduces students to concepts, methodological techniques, and instruments that are applicable to the analysis of an organization's strategic position. Students will learn how to establish and implement strategies and policies, as well as their significant operational implications, in this course.
The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ ability to prepare for various types of academically based management research through the development and design of a research proposal. Learners will develop a critical understanding of the philosophical, practical and ethical concepts of research within the context of the business environment.
