Entry Requirements
For entry onto theInternational Postgraduate Diploma (IPGD) in International Business Management qualification, learners must possess:
- An honours degree in a related subject or the UK level 6 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification, i.e. bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma
OR
- Mature learners (over 25) with at least five years of management experience if they do not possess the above qualification (this is reviewed on a case-by-case basis)
Course Modules
This module provides the most critical information about the study course and assignment submission.
During this course, students will learn to distinguish between the international marketing concepts of products or services. From a managerial standpoint, understanding the international marketing environment and the conditions that influence the market selection, product decisions, policy and price, distribution channels, and various levels of marketing communications will be explained.
The aim of teaching a course on "Global Finance & Strategy" would be to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the financial and strategic issues that arise in the global business environment.
Understanding why nations trade; characteristics of foreign markets and their impact on business decisions, including the role of government, cross-border transactions, cultural and regional impacts are all covered in the International Business Module.
The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ ability to prepare for various types of academically based management research through the development and design of a research proposal. Learners will develop a critical understanding of the philosophical, practical and ethical concepts of research within the context of the business environment.
