The PhD in Public Health is designed to develop advanced research skills and strategic thinking, which are essential for addressing global public health challenges. The programme explores interdisciplinary themes including healthcare systems, organisational leadership, and behavioural health dynamics. Participants will engage in empirical studies applying both qualitative and quantitative methods. Graduates will be equipped to influence practice, policy, and research at the highest levels.

After completing the program, students will have the ability to:

  • Analyze internal and external environments using strategic frameworks to develop sustainable and competitive business strategies.
  • Assess and apply global financial strategies to manage currency risk, capital structure, and investment decisions across international markets.
  • Interpret behavioural theories and interpersonal dynamics to improve leadership, motivation, and change management within organizations.
  • Critically examine and synthesize established and emerging business theories to construct innovative and adaptable organizational models.
  • Apply integrated management principles to solve complex organizational problems and drive strategic decision-making and innovation.

The course is delivered in two segments. 

Segment 1 consists of Seven modules, each one with an assignment and Segment 2 consists of a RESEARCH REPORT(paper)

Segment 1:

Modules: You will be awarded a level 8 Diploma for the completion of the coursework of the following modules.

Advanced Research Methods:

This module provides in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies essential for doctoral inquiry. It includes theoretical foundations such as research philosophy and design, alongside practical applications in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Emphasis is placed on ethical considerations to support responsible and rigorous research.

Advanced Human Resource Management:

This module explores the strategic management of human resources within complex organizational contexts. Core topics include recruitment, employee development, performance management, and motivation techniques aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing operational costs. The focus is on aligning human capital with organizational objectives.

Strategic Management and Business Analysis:

This module presents advanced strategic frameworks and analytical tools for assessing competitive environments and guiding decision-making. Through case analysis and integration of prior learning, participants examine the development and execution of long-term strategies to navigate dynamic market conditions.

Advanced Business Theories:

This module traces the evolution of business thought from economic paradigms to behaviorally-informed perspectives. It emphasizes theoretical integration, critical reading of foundational literature, and the application of interdisciplinary approaches to build a nuanced understanding of organizational theory and contemporary research practice.

Global Financial Management:

Focusing on financial decision-making in international contexts, this module covers asset valuation, capital structure, and financial instruments. Learners explore principles such as the time value of money, portfolio risk, arbitrage, and the use of derivatives, with a focus on strategies for managing financial risk in global markets.

Organizational Behaviour:

This module examines individual and group behavior within organizational settings, emphasizing leadership, organizational change, and structural design. Topics include team dynamics, motivation, and communication, with applied strategies for managing transitions and improving workplace effectiveness.

Advanced Management:

This module offers a comprehensive study of modern management practices, addressing organizational leadership, decision-making, and performance optimization. Students investigate core principles of strategic management, behavior dynamics, and organizational communication to enhance leadership capabilities and operational outcomes.

Segment 2 - RESEARCH/THESIS:

Here, you will produce an academic standard research report in this segment. This segment will last nominally for one-two year. Your specialization depends on the topic you will select for the research.

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent recognized academic title in any discipline with over eight years of managerial and/or business experience

English Language Proficiency:
