The MBA in Project Management and Financial Management program is designed to equip students with advanced expertise in project strategy, financial planning, and performance optimization. It blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications to prepare professionals for complex challenges in both project management and financial management. The program covers key areas such as project planning, financial modeling, budgeting, and global project operations. Emphasis is placed on enhancing analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills to drive project efficiency, business growth, and financial innovation across industries.

MBA: The MBA curriculum consists of 120 ECTS credits of postgraduate study, offered as modular fashion. MBA-candidates in the regular duration programme complete 18 required modules/courses (108 ECTS credits), plus a final Thesis/Dissertation (12 ECTS credits) or 2 additional modules (6 ECTS credits each) all of these focused on a specific field or industry of management.

Course Details

The Project Management and Financial Management program provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of project strategies, financial principles, and practices essential for effective decision-making and organizational growth. The course integrates business analytics and economic insights to enhance project efficiency, financial forecasting, performance assessment, and overall effectiveness. Participants explore leadership, resource optimization, risk management, and financial planning to drive successful project outcomes. Key concepts in global project management, financial markets, and business dynamics are examined to navigate both domestic and international challenges effectively.

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:

Understand core project management and financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, resource management, and financial reporting, to improve decision-making.
Analyze macroeconomic trends and their impact on project operations, financial markets, and investment strategies.
Evaluate microeconomic factors influencing project and financial decisions, such as market behavior, cost structures, and competitive strategies.
Develop proficiency in project management techniques, including capacity planning, scheduling, and financial statement interpretation.
Explore financial management strategies, including capital budgeting, risk management, and optimizing project costs for profitability.
Gain advanced knowledge in global project management operations, financial systems, and investment opportunities to enhance business performance and drive growth.

University Progression

Entry Requirements

You are required to hold at minimum a recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall score of 55% (GPA 2.0 on a 4.0 point scale) or higher.

In some instances, you may also require relevant work experience and/or research experience. If applicable, you may demonstrate this through the submission of a CV, portfolio, and/or a personal statement.

English Language Proficiency:

Our programs are conducted in English language. As such, you must demonstrate proficiency in English language by submitting one of the following test scores during the application process:

Duolingo Overall: 90+

English Proficiency Waivers:

The English proficiency test is not required for the following candidates:
– Native English Speakers, OR;
– Applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e. High School Diploma or IB), OR;
– Applicants having completed their undergraduate or graduate studies in English, OR;
– 2 years of work experience in an organization where English is the primary language of communication.
